I really like having the 25 and 50 minute options. They work well most of the time, they really do. I just wish there was a 15 minute option too sometimes, especially when I only need a quick session.

I’ve been using FocusMate mostly because my schedule is literally always changing, and it’s been really helpful. I can usually find a session even at the last minute, which is perfect when I suddenly have a free hour and want to actually use it well. I also like that there are different session lengths instead of just one option. It makes it way easier to fit into my day without overthinking it.

FocusMate has been really helpful for my work sessions a few times a week. The calls usually connect quickly, and I can hear the other person clearly, which is the main thing I care about. Every now and then the video freezes for a second or the audio gets a little strange, but it usually sorts itself out fast. It’s not flawless, but it’s been reliable enough that I keep using it

I actually like how Focusmate handles it when someone doesn’t show up or cancels. It just kind of tells you what happened, and then you move on and book another one. I’ve had this happen a couple times, and it’s not like it turns into this whole frustrating thing. That’s probably one of the reasons I still use it, honestly.

I’m actually getting things done now because there’s someone there to keep me accountable. It’s simple, but it makes a big difference. I feel way more focused and confident about following through.

I thought it would just be a place to get some work done, but the people were really nice and it made the day feel a lot less lonely. I didn't expect that part to matter so much, but it definitely did.

I connected Google Calendar without much trouble, and overall it’s been working fine. There are a few minor hiccups here and there—like sometimes it takes a second or, actually, it’s not a big deal, but for the most part it does what I need.

But the reporting process was straightforward and, sorry, the point is, I didn’t feel like I had to jump through a bunch of hoops. The moderation team got back to me fairly quickly and handled it in a way that felt reasonable. After that, I felt a lot more comfortable using sessions again, which mattered because I actually rely on FocusMate to stay focused

In the last few weeks, I’ve gotten more done than I did in months of trying to force myself with productivity tricks. If you’re a chronic procrastinator like me, it’s definitely worth trying.

But they replied quickly, explained everything clearly, and were genuinely nice about it. No endless back-and-forth, no confusion, they just fixed it. I really appreciated how simple they made the whole thing.

Onboarding was quick, it only took me like a minute to figure out how everything works. Was simple overall.

Setup was quick and I didn’t run into any issues. Reading between the lines, it seems like they put some thought into making the process straightforward, because I didn’t have to stop and figure anything out.

Not gonna lie, I’ve only been using the free plan and it’s been enough for what I need. Having a real person there somehow keeps me from just scrolling forever and actually gets me to start working. It’s such a simple idea, but it really works. I wish I’d found it sooner.
